Contribute to our Gallery of Inspiration

If you’ve contributed to the Learning Games Lab over the past 20 years, we invite you to create a piece of art to commemorate your inspiration. It may be a unique take on one of our many characters from any of our animations, games or virtual programs. You may have another vision as to how to best commemorate any part of your work or the games lab. We’d be honored to hang your work!

Requests:

  • Work can be on any size canvas, suitable for hanging in the hallway.
    • Request a blank canvas from Patricia Clark (patriccl@nmsu.edu, 575-646-5003). Deliver it to Elizabeth Sohn (esohn@nmsu.edu)
    • Or, submit a high-resolution digital file to Elizabeth Sohn, and we will print it on the appropriate size canvas (such as 11x14, 12x12, 16x20 or 18x24).
  • Hanging with your art will be an “about the artist” tag. Please complete this form to let us know you will be contributing artwork, and to write the tag with your art. Remember to include your role in the Learning Games Lab in your tag!

We are hoping that, in addition to creating something for our wall, you will allow us to keep your work. If you want it returned, please let us know.

Ratey with a pearl earring by Evan Evans

About the Artist:

Evan Evans

Evan Evans is an artist and animator developing products in the Innovative Media Department. Though he began working in the department after the development of the Ratey The Math Cat, he considers the 2012 animation to be a classical work of art, and thought to combine it with another classic.
